MIT Media Lab’s Brilliant New Logo Has 40,000 Permutations [Video] | Co.Design
Great example of identity design that doesn’t depend solely on an aesthetically pleasing logo. The underlying idea is what really communicates the brand.

Business Cards for a Dallas-based photographer/jack-of-many-trades. Give him a call if you’re ever in the DFW area and need a photographer/video-grapher.

Logorama from Marc Altshuler - Human Music on Vimeo.

Can’t believe this video made it back on to the interwebs… you should watch it because it’s totally worth your time (a little NSFW due to potty-mouthed characters).

ed note: I initially reblogged this from here but I don’t like the way my video posts look when it’s from vimeo so I had to repost from scratch as a text post. More on that here.

United States Postal Service Re-Branding on the Behance Network
This is a really phenomenal rebrand of the USPS identity by Matt Chase. It’s the kind of theoretical redesign exercise that’s so bold and beautiful (yeah… I just name-checked a soap-opera) that it kinda makes you sad as a designer to know that if it were for real, the client would be too scared to actually adopt it.

75 Years of Architecture at MoMA – Ed Nacional / Graphic Designer / Brooklyn, NY
I love everything about this identity design for MoMA by Ed Nacional. The way the number 75 is handled and its lock-up with the rest of the elements in the various touchpoints is so simple yet so riveting to look at.
